When I started Bridging Minds on July 20th, 2019, I did not know if the idea of practicing civil discussions would catch on, or really how needed it was within our families, communities, and our country. Now, just a few years later, we are a group of thousands — 85% women! — and always building our outreach, all thanks to YOU!
Being a part of Bridging Minds is not just self-serving but beneficial to the people in your life and even those you come in contact with for brief conversations. We can see it — the ripple effect of engaging in healthy communication — opening hearts and minds to the belief that we all deserve respect and we all desire to feel understood.
I try to keep our costs low, but still, there’s website development and maintenance, podcast production and editing, Facebook promotions, a future app, and newsletter, plus all the time and energy that’s given day after day by our moderators. More than anything, I would like to compensate them for their consistent devotion to our mission.
